Active steroid/nuclear receptors
	In nature, all steroid receptors as well as some other nuclear receptors exist in complex with the Hsp90 molecular chaperone which is essential for native ligand-binding properties of the receptors (details). However, no such receptor/Hsp90 complexes were commercially available for drug screening in a purified form. AB Vector resolved this problem by co-expressing receptors with Hsp90 and other human molecular chaperones, i.e. Hsp40, Hsc70, Hop and p23, which are required to form and stabilize receptor/Hsp90 complexes (details), Fig. 1.
