Estrogen receptor beta (ERβ) is also known as NR3A2 (nuclear receptor subfamily 3, group A, member 2). GST-tagged Estrogen receptor beta ligand-binding domain (ERβ-LBD) consists of a 218 a.a. GST tag (Schistosoma japonicum Glutathione S-Transferase, Acc# 1M99_A), a 30 a.a. flexible linker and a 346 a.a. ERβ-LBD, Acc# NP_001428, amino acids 243-530 (details). GST tagged ERβ-LBD was expressed in baculovirus-infected insect cells and purified using affinity chromatography (Fig. 1). ERβ-LBD was produced in the absence of detergents and exogenous ligands to ensure advanced performance in ligand-binding assays and coregulator displacement studies. |
