|Purified GST-tagged human Retinoic acid receptor alpha LBD
Retinoic acid receptor alpha (RAR-alpha or RARA) is also known as NR1B1 (nuclear receptor subfamily 1, group B, member 1). GST-tagged Retinoic acid receptor alpha ligand-binding domain (RARA-LBD) consists of a 218 a.a. GST tag (Schistosoma japonicum Glutathione S-Transferase, Acc# 1M99_A), a 14 a.a. flexible linker and a 288 a.a. RARA-LBD, Acc# AAH71733.1, amino acids 170-457 (details).
GST tagged RARA-LBD was expressed in baculovirus-infected insect cells and purified using affinity chromatography (Fig. 1). RARA-LBD was produced in the absence of detergents and exogenous ligands to ensure advanced performance in ligand-binding assays and coregulator displacement studies.
50 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0, 150 mM NaCl,
0.5 mM EDTA, 3 mM Dithiothreitol,
7 mM reduced glutathione, 20% glycerol.

Handling upon arrival
Immediately store at -80°C.
Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
While working, please keep
sample on ice.
