Purified GST-tagged human Liver X receptor beta LBD |
||
Liver X receptor beta (LXR-β or LXRB) is encoded by the NR1H2 gene (nuclear receptor subfamily 1, group H, member 2). GST-tagged Liver X receptor beta ligand-binding domain (LXRB-LBD) consists of a 218 a.a. GST tag (Schistosoma japonicum Glutathione S-Transferase, Acc# 1M99_A), a 13 a.a. flexible linker and a 266 a.a. LXRB-LBD, Acc# AAH74500.1, amino acids 196-461 (details). GST tagged LXRB-LBD was expressed in baculovirus-infected insect cells and purified using affinity chromatography (Fig. 1). LXRB-LBD was produced in the absence of detergents and exogenous ligands to ensure advanced performance in ligand-binding assays and coregulator displacement studies. |
Storage buffer 20 mM Na-P pH 8.0, 40 mM KCl, 7 mM reduced glutathione, 15% glycerol. Purity >90% Applications Ligand binding and coactivator peptide recruitment assays. Handling upon arrival Immediately store at -80°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. While working, please keep sample on ice. |
