|Purified GST-tagged human Thyroid hormone receptor beta LBD
Thyroid hormone receptor beta (TR-beta or THRB) is also known as nuclear receptor subfamily 1, group A, member 2 (NR1A2). GST-tagged Thyroid hormone receptor beta ligand-binding domain (THRB-LBD) consists of a 218 a.a. GST tag (Schistosoma japonicum Glutathione S-Transferase, Acc# 1M99_A), a 13 a.a. flexible linker and a 260 a.a. THRB-LBD, Acc# AAI06930.1, amino acids 202-461 (details).
GST tagged THRB-LBD was expressed in baculovirus-infected insect cells and purified using affinity chromatography (Fig. 1). THRB-LBD was produced in the absence of detergents and exogenous ligands to ensure advanced performance in ligand-binding assays and coregulator displacement studies.
