Estrogen-related receptor alpha (ERR-α or ESRRA) is also known as NR3B1 (nuclear receptor subfamily 3, group B, member 1). GST-tagged Estrogen-related receptor alpha ligand-binding domain (ESRRA-LBD) consists of a 218 a.a. GST tag (Schistosoma japonicum Glutathione S-Transferase, Acc# 1M99_A), a 13 a.a. flexible linker and a 244 a.a. ESRRA-LBD, Acc# AAH92470.1, amino acids 180-423 (details). GST tagged ESRRA-LBD was expressed in baculovirus-infected insect cells and purified using affinity chromatography (Fig. 1). ESRRA-LBD was produced in the absence of detergents and exogenous ligands to ensure advanced performance in ligand-binding assays and coregulator displacement studies. |
