Purified GST-tagged human Liver X receptor alpha LBD |
||
Liver X receptor alpha (LXR-alpha or LXRA) is also known as oxysterols receptor or NR1H3 (nuclear receptor subfamily 1, group H, member 3). GST-tagged Liver X receptor alpha ligand-binding domain (LXRA-LBD) consists of a 218 a.a. GST tag (Schistosoma japonicum Glutathione S-Transferase, Acc# 1M99_A), a 13 a.a. flexible linker and a 241 a.a. LXRA-LBD, Acc# NP_005684.2, amino acids 207-447 (details). GST tagged LXRA-LBD was expressed in baculovirus-infected insect cells and purified using affinity chromatography (Fig. 1). LXRA-LBD was produced in the absence of detergents and exogenous ligands to ensure advanced performance in ligand-binding assays and coregulator displacement studies. |
Storage buffer 50 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0, 150 mM NaCl, 0.5 mM EDTA, 3 mM Dithiothreitol, 7 mM reduced glutathione, 20% glycerol. Purity >90% Applications Ligand binding and coactivator peptide recruitment assays. Handling upon arrival Immediately store at -80°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. While working, please keep sample on ice. |
