|Purified GST-tagged human Estrogen receptor alpha LBD
Estrogen receptor alpha (ERα) is also known as NR3A1 (nuclear receptor subfamily 3, group A, member 1). GST-tagged Estrogen receptor alpha ligand-binding domain (ERα-LBD) consists of a 218 a.a. GST tag (Schistosoma japonicum Glutathione S-Transferase, Acc# 1M99_A), a 30 a.a. flexible linker and a 346 a.a. ERα-LBD, Acc# NP_000116 amino acids 250-595 (details).
GST tagged ERα-LBD was expressed in baculovirus-infected insect cells and purified using affinity chromatography (Fig. 1). ERα-LBD was produced in the absence of detergents and exogenous ligands to ensure advanced performance in ligand-binding assays and coregulator displacement studies.
