|Purified GST-tagged human RAR-related orphan receptor gamma LBD
RAR-related orphan receptor gamma (RORγ or RORG) is also known as RORC as in humans is encoded by the RORC (RAR-related orphan receptor C) gene. It is a member of the nuclear receptor family of transcription factors, nuclear receptor subfamily 1, group F, member 3 (NR1F3). GST-tagged RAR-related orphan receptor gamma ligand-binding domain (RORG-LBD) consists of a 218 a.a. GST tag (Schistosoma japonicum Glutathione S-Transferase, Acc# 1M99_A), a 13 a.a. flexible linker and a 268 a.a. RORG-LBD, Acc# AAH31554.1, amino acids 251-518 (details).
GST tagged RORG-LBD was expressed in baculovirus-infected insect cells and purified using affinity chromatography (Fig. 1). RORG-LBD was produced in the absence of detergents and exogenous ligands to ensure advanced performance in ligand-binding assays and coregulator displacement studies.
50 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0, 150 mM NaCl,
0.5 mM EDTA, 3 mM Dithiothreitol,
7 mM reduced glutathione, 20% glycerol.
